My name is Marie, and I’m originally from Prague, Czech Republic.
I’m passionate about creativity, community, and meaningful connections.
I enjoy supporting others, listening to audiobooks, journaling and crafting in my Traveller`s Notebook.
I love a good cup of coffee and I am currently getting in running – painful but exciting!
About education:
I have Bc. degree from Aesthetics (Art theory / Philosophy of Art) and I also studied Personnel management and Adult Education.
Currently, I teach art workshops and am continuing my education to become an Art Therapist.
About Rvk Collage Club:
Since I founded Reykjavík Collage Club in 2023 I enjoyed organizing workshops in:

Nordic house
library in Hafnarfjörður
at Hamraborg festival
at Nakano stationary store
in the Reykjavík City Library Gófin
for W.O.M.E.N. in Iceland
and a few of them independently in cafés.
And other:
Besides Rvk Collage Club I like to organize swapping events with Swap Iceland (online swapping community I founded in 2021).
The aspect of respecting nature, value the resources and re-use things is reflected in my work with collages as well. I love reusing old magazines and work with materials that would otherwise would be thrown away.
